Red Shoe Shuffle 2015
In light of all that is now going on in Baltimore, this event shines brightly in my mind! A chilly early April morning when Baltimore came together to benefit the Ronald McDonald House through participating in the Red Shoe Shuffle! Yes, the big guy, Ronald, was there, along with people of all color, age and size! Priestly from Mix 106.5 was our MC and he and Ronald killed it! Kudos to Sandy Pagnotti, the board of directors, staff, residents, volunteers and participants. It was a joyful morning, but bittersweet as we remember those who lost their battles. We honored them; we walked for them; we ran for them, and also for those who are still with us, fighting their battles too. It was a privilege to be part of this great event again this year and I hope as our city heals, we have many more events like this to look forward to - for this is how I see the streets of Baltimore, filled with those who want to help - #Baltimorestrong!
